Adnan Sir
M.Sc. Physics (JMI) | Physics Faculty
Adnan Batt is a dedicated Physics educator, researcher and academic mentor with a strong specialization in Laser Physics and Spectroscopy. With an academic background in Physics, hands-on research experience in nanomaterials and a passion for teaching, he brings together conceptual understanding, experimental knowledge and student-focused pedagogy.
He completed his M.Sc. in Physics with specialization in Laser & Spectroscopy from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, securing an impressive CGPA of 8.32. He previously completed his B.Sc. (Hons.) in Physics from Cluster University of Jammu, with 76.8%, and his Senior Secondary education from FMHSS Doda, Jammu & Kashmir, where he secured 91%.
Physics Faculty at MEER SIR ACADEMY
Since February 2026, Adnan Batt has been serving as a Physics Faculty at MEER SIR ACADEMY, Jamia Nagar, New Delhi. He teaches Class XI, XII and BSc JMI/AMU/CUET Entrance (UG & PG) Physics
His teaching methodology emphasizes conceptual clarity, numerical problem-solving, regular assessment and examination-oriented preparation. He strives to make challenging Physics topics understandable through logical explanations, examples and systematic problem-solving techniques.
Research & Specialization
Adnan’s research interests lie in materials science, nanomaterials, optics, spectroscopy and condensed matter physics. During his postgraduate research, he worked on the hydrothermal synthesis and optical and structural characterization of pristine CdS and Ba-doped CdS nanostructures.
His research experience includes X-ray Diffraction (XRD), UV–Visible spectroscopy, photoluminescence, thin-film fabrication and sample preparation. He has also worked on nonlinear dynamical systems and chaotic behaviour through the Duffing oscillator, developing strong analytical and computational skills.
His academic interests cover areas including:
- Laser Physics
- Spectroscopy
- Quantum Mechanics
- Electromagnetism
- Condensed Matter Physics
- Quantum Optics
- Mathematical Physics
- Classical Mechanics
- Nanomaterials and Materials Science
Mentorship & Educational Outreach
Beyond classroom teaching, Adnan Batt is the Founder and Mentor of Student’s Guide Organisation for Educational Advancement, an initiative working to provide academic guidance and mentorship to students, particularly those from remote regions of Jammu & Kashmir.
Since 2020, he has been involved in teaching Physics and Mathematics, career counselling, examination preparation, mentorship programmes and scholarship-awareness activities. The initiative was registered with the Government of Jammu & Kashmir and NGO Darpan (NITI Aayog) in 2025.
Academic & Writing Engagement
Adnan is also involved in academic writing and opinion journalism, contributing articles on education, youth issues and society to news portals and magazines. Through his writing, he aims to communicate scientific and social issues in a clear and accessible manner.
Technical & Experimental Skills
He has experience with C++, Fortran 90 and Scilab, along with scientific and academic tools such as LaTeX, Origin, Gnuplot and MS Office. His laboratory skills include UV–Vis spectroscopy, XRD analysis, photoluminescence, Z-scan techniques, hydrothermal synthesis, thin-film fabrication and laser handling.
Teaching Philosophy
Adnan believes that Physics should be taught through understanding rather than memorization. His approach combines strong fundamentals, mathematical reasoning, practical examples and continuous problem-solving. He focuses on helping students develop the confidence to approach complex Physics problems systematically.
At MEER SIR ACADEMY, he contributes to a learning environment that emphasizes conceptual clarity, disciplined preparation, mentorship and academic excellence.
